Our BackgroundFounding partner, Ben Gleiberman had previously operated a successful and reputed computer hardware business for almost 20 years. 3D Computer Services Ltd. was what the industry dubbed a 'Value Added Reseller'. This meant that in addition to supplying products, 3D also provided service and support for them. 3D was also an authorized service depot for various product lines. 3D was renowned as a trusted supplier of technical support to its clientele and earned several industry awards for services such as the HP MVP and Consumer Choice in 2003 and 2004. Manufacturers made strong demands on VARs to maintain their authorizations. Volumes had to be maintained; training had to be up to date. As hardware pricing became competitive, it became more challenging to provide the level of support and trust that was part of the company philosophy. So, after some very deep soul searching, the decision was made to restructure the delivery of our service and support without compromising clients' IT support. It became apparent that the best way to deliver this commitment was to establish STRATEGIC ALLIANCES with various service and product providers in the industry. Not manufacturers or national distributors, but the actual individuals who fulfill the needs of the end user. The STRATEGIC ALLIANCES allows us to broaden our scope of offerings and provide more in-depth expertise as needed. |
